Finbar Flynn is a working-class boy living in a grim concrete jungle in Dublin. When he has the chance to play for Zurich Grasshoppers FC, things go wrong and, with the disappointment of a whole community on his shoulders, Finbar jumps from a motorway flyover and disappears – and his body is never found. His best friend Danny creates a ‘Find Finbar’ committee and releases a pop song in his memory, but Finbar still remains missing. That is, until Danny receives a phone call in the middle of the night.
