A young engineer is hired to do surveys near a small village in Austria to determine the suitability of building a factory there. The villagers are worried about being forced off their land in order to build the factory, but they have an ace in the hole–the village is protected by an evil warlock and his doughtier. However, matters get complicated when the daughter falls in love with the engineer.
