Nana (1934)
Nana (Anna Sten) is a young woman who dreams of success in the entertainment world. For this reason he works tirelessly in Paris. One day he has a stroke of luck, and admirer decides to create a musical revue where Nana is the only star. This will launch to fame, and soon finds himself surrounded by numerous fans, who are eager to meet her in person. Among his admirers are veteran Grand Duke Alexis, and a young gallant who is soon starting a romance. But the older brother of his mistress also walks in love with Nana, and jealousy get in his way. The Grand Duke learns Nana’s relationship with the young lieutenant, and intended him to a dangerous site in Algeria. Nana, desperate and depressed by the Grand Duke, leaving the show and takes refuge in the arms of the elder brother of her former lover. Some time later, he returns to Algeria to fight the Prussians.
