A great women-centric sex melodrama with an underlying current of crime and exploitation. The cinematography by Napoleon Pang Chun-Wai (Drugs Fighters) is exceptional even during the sex scenes and helps make this a standout in a rather lowly genre. There are humorous moments sprinkled throughout but Charlie Cho is in deadly serious mode here.
Lots of location shots, great direction, good performances: this is one of the very best of it’s kind.
