Winfield College students that are attempting to assemble the yearly varsity series come into battle with their college advisor, a stodgy old professor whose thoughts have been hopelessly out of date, and that will not even allow the brand new “swing” music be performed at the series. They opt to get ahold of a former student who’s currently a big Broadway star and have him direct their own show. What they do not understand is this “celebrity’s” past 3 shows were large flops.
