The Trail of the Lonesome Pine (1936)
A well-established tale of a long-running feud between two mountain clans. The features of this production were the new three-strip Technicolor process showing the outdoor Californian settings and an energetic young cast. It is said that Li’l Abner was based on Henry Fonda’s performance.
