This TV movie is based on Truman Capote’s childhood memories of living with his aunts in rural Alabama during the Depression. It is Christmas, and time for his quirky Aunt Sook to make her famous, or some would say, infamous, fruitcake. Geraldine Page won an Emmy for her brilliant portrayal of Soon in this well acted story.
