The Steel Jungle is your prison in which most of the movie occurs. Perry Lopez heads the cast as two-bit bookie Ed Novak, who goes to prison instead of squeal on his Syndicate higher-ups. Novak’s silence exacts a toll on his wife Frances (Beverly Garland), who’s expecting a kid. The longer he stays in jail, the longer Novak becomes conscious the telescope has deserted himand the longer he is prepared to ditch what he understands. Fellow captive Steve Marlin (Ted De Corsia) plans to observe Novak keeps his mouth closed permanently.
