Karen Kirsten (Sonja Henie) and her Jenny Johnsen (Olga San Juan) are two friends about to enter the movie business. After a failed cast in The Countess of Monte Cristo, they run away from the set in an expensive car and clothes and head for a luxury ski resort impersonating a countess and her maid to have some fun only to find themselves involved with a hotel thief (Hugh French) and having a romantic affair with Lt. Paul von Kram (Michael Kirby). Include some spectacular skating and musical numbers.
