A group of teenagers spend the summer looking for fun in a place where it’s in short supply in this good-natured comedy-drama. It’s summer in the Slovenian city of Ljubljana, and five buddies spend their time trying to scare up some excitement; however, finding someone to buy them some beer at the neighborhood tavern is usually the high point of the day. In between drifting through town, sometimes scoring drugs, and trying to figure out where they left their car, the guys discover (to their surprise) that love may be entering the picture when a pair of local girls begin hanging out with the group. Jebiga, the debut feature from director Miha Hocevar, was well received in its screening at the 2000 Slovenian National Film Festival.

Two middle-aged men work as caretakers on an isolated dam construction site high in the snow-capped Italian Alps. When one of them leaves for the valley to spend Christmas vacation with his family he is temporarily replaced with an adolescent boy. The other man is both annoyed and intrigued by the boy and his habits: he listens to loud music, sleeps too long in the mornings and doesn’t drink any alcohol. They barely speak to one another in the first couple of days. But when an avalanche cuts their small hut from electricity they slowly start growing more fond of each other.

Mr Bizanti editor in chief of newspaper “Il Giornale”, in agreement with its owner Mr. Montelli, decides to charge of following the story the junior Roveda and the senior Lauri.
