In 1999, Eun-joo leaves her seaside home, “Il Mare,” placing a Christmas card in the mailbox for the next resident, asking them to forward her mail. But when Sung-hyun, the house’s first owner, moves in—two years earlier in 1997—he finds the letter and writes back, thinking it’s a prank. As more letters pass between them, they discover that they are mysteriously connected across time, two years apart, and begin to form a heartfelt bond through the mailbox that defies logic and fate.
