Ferdinand XXIII., the king of Portorico, is exaggeratedly scared of anarchists. Thus he hires a famous detective Sherlock Holmes to find him a double. He finds Frantisek Lelicek, a perfect double, who is deeply in debts. So Lelicek accepts the role with a pleasure. Some of royal counselors plan an assassination of king, however Lelicek unwittingly avoid every attempt. Also he uses his position to make several changes in the state. Besides, he accidentally meets a queen who doesn’t know he’s a double. She is very pleased by a sudden change of her husband.
