1834. After murdering a Marquesa, a robber fled with the loot, unaware that has been seen by the victim’s daughter. Because of the shock the child goes into shock and loss of sight. An innocent man is convicted and sentenced to death for the crime. After the execution, his son travels to London to finish his medical studies; when he returns ten years later, she is already a woman and he, madly in love, tries to regain his sight.
