1962 in Tras-os-Montes, a miners’ strike begins to be repressed by the National Guard. Later the PIDE starts investigations with the aim of holding the most prominent element of the strike movement, Daniel, a miner who was just trying to fight for better working conditions, but that the political police believes is being manipulated and instrumentalized by opposing political forces the regime. Daniel tries, in the company of his brother i law, escape to France but the siege of a relentless man hunt will be brutally pressing them both, undergoing by a particular inspector hunting his man.
