Medical student Monique Brahm moves from Berlin to Munich to live with her uncle Eberhard Adler in order to continue her studies there. The immoral uncle, who is a city councilor, had learned that she had to work part-time to finance her studies. He does not know, however, that she performed at night as a go-go dancer with the musicians of the Mark-Brothers group. The Mark-Brothers get an engagement in the nightclub Blow-Up from owner Conny Angel. But he has signed a contract with Monique and so the engagement threatens to burst. The Mark-Brothers convince Monique to dance with them until they find an adequate replacement. Monique in turn meets the student Peter Mertens at the university, who falls in love with her.
