About the isle of Rhodes, Katherine, an expatriate English photographer, lives with her daughter. A young neighborhood wants to promote tourism, therefore that he commissions a sculpture from this Unknown Tourist for town square; the sculptor he attracts to Rhodes is Kate’s ex-husband. There to see Kate is Sharp, an aging antiquarian and her beloved friend. He has something important to tell her. As Kate, her ex, and Sharp sort things out go back years, two British vacationers bumble about, one believing he has fallen in love with Kate, his wife thinking she has found her own fan.
