When her husband, Jim (Craig Reynolds), masterminds a plot to drive his competitors out of business by way of hijacking and murder, the cops catch on and Peggy Mallory (Evelyn Venable) is pulled along for the ride. To keep her profile as low as she can, Peggy splits from Jim and hides out with a reclusive artist (Reed Hadley). But if her abettor blows her cover — and Jim’s enemies find out where she is — there will be nowhere left to hide.
