Five employees submerged in the basement of a store marplatense grotesquely are linked to each other, each trying to feel better than the other because of miserable advantages. The director did not want to make a realistic or autobiographical film, although most of the film is based on lived by the Kidron own as store clerk Galician experiences. Its aim was, however, achieved a work of raw poetry, based on the contrast between certain deliberately grotesque and other segments of absolute asceticism.
