The story is the usual addition of mix-ups. Leny Marenbach decides to save Alice Treff at the train station when her husband and her prospective lover (Ferdinand Marian) appear at the same time and she does so by pretending to be his girlfriend. No, there’s no really good reason for that. Marian is intrigued and pursues Marenbach. In the meantime Alice Treff begins wrongly to suspect that Marenbach and her husband have a fling.
