At the suburbs of Rome, the translator Vittoria breaks her involvement with her boyfriend, the author Ricardo, after a troubled night. Vittoria goes to meet her mum, who’s hooked on the stock exchange, and she matches with the agent Piero on a single day of wreck. The materialist Piero along with the absent Vittoria start a monosyllabic relationship.
