Mahgoub Abdel Dayem a young nihilistic college student, having his father crippled with no other source of income, he finds himself in an urgent need of a job after graduation to support himself and his parents. Having a hard time getting a job, he starts putting his values into actual application only to find them already being applied by much greater authorities. Set in Cairo in the 30s.
