An immoral antiques dealer witnesses a car accident on his way home in his brand new car. Not wanting to soil the immaculate interior of his new ride, he ignores the cries for help of the young boy and his father trapped in the car and drives on. Shortly after the incident he starts to have hallucinations of blood stains in the back seat of his car. Paranoia and delirium quickly begins to set in, not helped by the fact that his aloof wife appears to have developed a relationship with a strange, lesbian art collector.
