The 26 year old Gianni Alberti is a journalist so lazy that he gets laid off, but Vivia, enterprising wife, makes him rehire by the Editor who, to knock him out of the way, sends him to Palestine to do the chronicler of the war between Arabs and Israelis. Given up for dead, he reappears as a ghost to Vivia.
He’s not really dead, though, and returns alive. Unbelieving wife and happy ending.
