The ethicist, Placido Mesquita, coming to Lisbon to visit his nephew Edward to rescue him from a damnable life of bad habits and finds himself torn between his passion for his next door neighbor, the young Mariana, and the loving relationship he has Isabel Moreira, artist brave and very determined varieties.
