Gilnam (Lee Seo-Jin), a diligent taxi driver plans to propose to his girlfriend, Yu-jeong (Choi Yu-Jeong). However, when Gilnam takes off to meet Yu-jeong with armful roses, he gets in a hit-and-run accident and dies on the spot. One night, forty-nine days later, in a graveyard, a set of headlights emerges. A mysterious taxi drives off into the city. The driver of this taxi is none other than Gilnam, but he is no longer a part of the living and he races through the city streets in search of his beloved. But Yu-jeong is nowhere to be found and while on his search for Yu-jeong, Gilnam finds a friend named “OK” (Hae-gyu Jeong) and “Nonstop” ([Jung Jae-Young]]) who are also ex-taxi driver ghosts who get their thrills terrifying human passengers with their deadly driving skills. Through them, Gilnam meets other ghosts like him, slowly realizing the truth of his existence and he hears of the ghost taxi driver, “Mantis”, infamous for his series of murderous hit-and-run accidents.
