New York, 1980: planes have substituted automobiles, numbers have substituted titles, tablets have replaced meals, government-arranged unions have substituted love, and test tube babies have substituted… well, you get the idea. Scientists revive a man struck by lightning at 1930; he’s rechristened”Single O”. He’s befriended by J-21, who can not marry the woman of his dreams since he is not”distinguished” enough until he’s picked to get a 4-month trip to Mars with a renegade scientist. The Mars J-21, his buddy, along with stowaway Single O see is filled with scantily clad women performing Busby Berkeley-style dancing amounts and worshiping a fat mid-range guy.
