Elli’s mother is sick and the family is poor. Elli’s stepfather, a small time crook, gets her a job as a mule delivering packages for the local drug lord. Of course, innocent Elli doesn’t know it’s drugs she’s carrying. In an argument over money, the drug boss kills the stepfather then frames Elli for the murder.
