This liturgical-surrealistic parable evokes the model-like events of the second decade of the century as reflected by the inner spiritual transformation of István Zsadányi, inspired by the figure of Endre Bajcsy-Zsilinszky. The young Zsadányi brothers of licentious habits kill the peasant leader András Baksa because he had humiliated their father. The fiercely nationalist István fights through World War I and in the following era of White Terror becomes a racist detachment officer and a Member of Parliament. After a lost battle, ridden by visions, he has his most devoted followers butchered. A mystical and fanatic love of freedom and the land turns him gradually to the common people. He leaves for the Baksa farm to face the son of the murdered old Baksa and the fate that awaits him.

A Budapest high school in the beginning of the 1960s. Dinis suffers the torments of adolescence. His father had to leave Hungary after the uprise in 1956, and since then Dini’s mother has had to take care of her two sons on her own. A friend of Dinis’ father, Bodor, is released from prison and moves in with them. Dinis and his brother Bodor are far from happy over this intrusion of their family life.

This documentary shows the life of French porn film director and producer Pierre Woodman, who has discovered several dozen Hungarian, Czech, Slovak, and Russian girls for the porn industry; girls who did not have a second though about participating in Pierre’s castings. This French-born entrepreneur and dare-devil is famous and envied for recording his porn movie castings, during which he “tests“ the candidates. Monsieur Woodman is 45 years old and has had 3000 sexual contacts with women so far.

The Hungarian Oh, Bloody Life reflects on the heavy emotional toll taken by the repressive Stalin regime. Dorotya Udvaros plays a young actress from a high-born family. The government bias against persons of wealth threatens to destroy her career before it begins. As a final blow, she is threatened with deportation. The exasperation inherent in the film’s title is only the tip of the iceberg.
The film’s protagonist Gruber Erno high school student. Felidezodik the early sixties atmosphere through their daily lives. Most of the action takes place in a dance school (of course, lots of music), which regularly involve young people.
Set in a large apartment in Hungary during the death throes of communism, obedient Andor lives with his eccentric mother, Rebeka, a once-celebrated stage actress-turned-recluse. After years of coexisting in a love-hate relationship marked by routine and possible incest, Andor brings home Eszter, a beautiful girl his own age. Her advances awaken Andor’s repressed desires, the depths of which prove shocking. Opera director Robert Alfoldi renders this bizarre story in a melodramatic style, and veteran Hungarian stage star Dorottya Udvaros rises to the occasion.
In a rural scenery in the throes of difficult changes lives a humble but promising young farmer girl called Mari Pataki. Her father forbids her from seeing the man she loves. The father, above all preoccupied by work on the fields and prospective wealth, decides to give his daughter in marriage to an old but rich man with whom he does business. Land marries land, he says. This seems to be the unyielding rule of the Hungarian peasantry. But the young lover is ready to stand up to any challenge to keep Maris love.
After the World War I, enthusiastic young people found the intellectual group of Hungarian Communist Party. Their aim is to propagate the communist ideology to the people and get the workers on their side. They have fierce discussions on the new ideas, though their movement is not very successful. They clash with their opposition, attempt to lead people to the Red Army, but without success.
It is 1912 and war looms on the horizon. The school year begins in a boarding school run by priests. Zoltán’s father, is one of the masters and struggling with questions that challenge their faith, while waiting for news of his brother, Titanic passenger, and is a particularly problematic group of new students, many of whom have been fond increasingly heavy play each other jokes. The arrival of Father Weigl, hired to teach physical education and decided to act when it sees pranks have gone too far, will bring alarming consequences.
