A master sculptor and his apprentice are trapped in a terrible snow storm after locating a distinctive tree for breaking up a statue to the neighborhood temple. Finding refuge in an abandoned hut they observe their fortune in discovering the tree but shortly they’re seen from the Snow Witch who freezes the sculptor to passing but takes pity about the apprentice. He has to promise never to talk of this or she will return and kill him.
