A projectionist operating in a nyc cinema adores the “film” facet of his role – he’s frequently doing impersonations of his own favourite film celebrities in scenes from his favorite films, and he’s film posters plastered all over his bedroom walls – but he hates his dictatorial boss, Renaldi, who’s strict and frequently unreasonable principles in the way he runs the institution. The projectionist is essentially a lone man, partially on account of the character of his job. Therefore, he’s much time to consider his favourite films. From time to time, he fantasizes he is a character in a film, a super hero called Captain Flash. In such fantasies, he cites a lot of the films he has ever seen. However, the two constants from the dreams are Captain Flash’s struggles against his arch enemy, the Bat (who looks Renaldi), who’s portrayed as somebody who would like to take around the world similar to Adolf Hitler, along with Captain Flash rescue”the woman”, who looks a real-life woman the projectionist admires from afar.

Millionaire businessman Thornton Melon is upset when his son Jason announces that he is not sure about going to college. Thornton insists that college is the best thing he never had for himself, and to prove his point, he agrees to enroll in school along with his son. Thornton is a big hit on campus: always throwing the biggest parties, knowing all the right people, but is this the way to pass college?

Rodney Dangerfield made this movie with his hilarious one liners. I still find myself quoting many of these lines which he delivers beautifully throughout the movie. The more you watch it the funnier it gets, and I’ll be watching it for a few more decades yet.

Comical goings on at an exclusive golf club. All the members are wealthy and eccentric, and all the staff are poor and slightly less eccentric. The main character is ‘Danny’; he’s a caddy who will do almost anything to raise money to go to college. There are many subplots, including the assistant green keeper’s pursuit of a cute (obviously stuffed) gopher.

Caddyshack is one of the great all time classics of it’s time. For any golf enthusiast this is a must see. Also, If you just like plain comedy this is a must see. I have seen this movie over 100 times and I still laugh to this day. Bill Murray plays one of the funniest roles that ever hit the big screen. After you see this movie you start repeating sayings that you hear in the movie. The late Ted Knight and Rodney Dangerfield are hilarious. If you are a Chevy Chase fan you must see him in this role. The role of Ty is the one that opened the door for Chase in such movies as Vacation, Fletch, Spies like us, Three Maiga’s and Funny Farm. You can watch it over and over again and laugh out loud every time. This movie rates on par with Animal House. These two classics will go down as two great movies in their era. For all the young people that have not seen this movie I recommend it highly. This movie is one for the ages.
