William J. Brennan, who works in a music store, aspires to be a radio announcer, however if Smedley, his company, finds him practicing using a dummy microphone during working hours, he hurries William outside to await Marion Ferguson, a client with whom William flirts and whom he pursues to the road. After being fired, he follows Marion into a radio broadcasting studio, where he meets Sam Fergusonhis older buddy and Marion’s brother, and volunteers to help him revive the waning lifetime span of this channel. Along with bringing many actors, an ad attracts Dr. Kruger, leader of the Ghost Gang, who intends to guide the actions of his gangsters by broadcasting directions beneath the guise of a clairvoyant mystic. William yells in his aims, and Kruger requests him kidnaped and plots to get him removed over the course of a bank robbery; however William contrives a strategy for tipping off the authorities and his buddies by using paper headlines, and he’s rescued at a final frenzied chase.
