An old Viennese suburb, an area of ??dilapidated houses, situated on the tracks of the train. There has Rudolf Pawlik (Rudolf Wessely), an old man who lived his quiet, contented life. Always, without excitement, without dangers.
When his neighbor dies and new tenants move into the house, start a new story for him. Herbert (Wolfgang Böck) is a Kliner thug who likes a great would, Michaela (dana vávrová), the young Czech woman is his girlfriend, Agnes (Hana Cainer) her daughter.
