The Stolen Border (Uloupená hranice) is a 1947 Czechoslovak war film depicting events before signing fateful Munich Agreement, directed by Jirí Weiss. Experience of military intelligence and military documents used director Weiss to realistically in combat scenes that underscore civilnost image. “At the beginning of the film is shot with sharp in magazines”, says actor Rudolf Deyl “In his role as Sergeant Vrba I slipped on the muddy ground and shoot fire dose from machine gun at the cameraman, a bullets through him coat billowing in the wind. After this event he had received all the blanks.” Despite the unequivocal condemnation of fanatical followers of Konrad Henlein creator resists to monochrome vision. The evidence is strong friendships Czech lumberjack Srbek (Ladislav H. Struna) with a German colleague Langer (J. O. Martin), which persists in tense times approaching the Munich decision. The fate of the family Langrova, Czech-German mixed marriage, Weiss demonstrates the absurdity of the conflict. While Langer’s daughter Anne Marie (Milica Kolofíková) was added to the side of the Czechs, her brother Hans (Josef Marsálek) actively involved in the German armed raids and causes the death of both his parents.
