During the Chosun period, a court lady is found dead, hanging by the rafters of the palace. After examining the dead body, place physician Chun-ryung discovers that the dead maid was probably murdered and carries out investigation even though her higher-ups pressure her to close the case as suicide.
Roufa (Abdel Kechiche) is an attractive young man, and that works out well for him because he is a practitioner of “bezness:” he’s a sex-for-hire boy for the tourists who come to Tunisia. His girlfriend deeply resents his having sex with other women but doesn’t seem much bothered that a rich German man he’s been having sex with is hoping to sponsor him in Europe.
“Shasan valo, sun lo aaj – Hamare gaon mein hamaara raaj” (Listen to us, you who rule – our villages, we control). A boat carrying that cargo of defiance begins an urgent journey through the Narmada valley.

An African safari is attacked by savage natives and the sole survivor is an infant who is adopted and raised by gorillas. As he is growing up, his only human friend is a native boy he happens to meet in a chance encounter.
This is a typical historical drama from the early 1960s on Yeonsangun (Shin Young-kyun), a king who had a life of extreme ups and downs. He is a son of King Seongjong (Kim Dong-won) and in great shock as he finds out that he is the son of deposed queen Yoon (Ju Jeung-ryu). As soon as he ascends the throne, Yeonsangun tries to restore the queen title of his mother but faces opposition from his grandmother, Queen Dowager Insu (Jeon-Ok), and her courtiers, which turns him into a violent king.
